Information about street closures on Canada Day

Please note

The downtown area in Ottawa and Gatineau will be closed to all vehicles except those displaying a circulation access pass, hotel patrons (with proof of hotel reservation), residents, OC Transpo and STO Supervisors, city of Ottawa and city of Gatineau employees, and emergency vehicles.

Residents of the downtown area can enter by producing a driver's license as proof of residence.

OC Transpo will travel on Mackenzie King Bridge, Albert and Slater streets. The Mackenzie King Bridge will be closed to pedestrians after 7 pm.

Since the Alexandra Bridge will be closed, STO will detour via the Macdonald-Cartier Bridge.

The following streets will be closed to vehicles for the region of Ottawa, Ontario.
